A play on the books of Richard Long, From Along a Riverbank, 1971 and From Around a Lake, 1973 in which Long collected a series of items during a walk and documented them with simple photos displayed in a book format. While Long’s books focuses on natural objects, From Along a Beach is a series of photos of discarded bottle tops, which was the most prolific item found during a walk along the beach in Long Beach, California.
